Benny Dayal is a multi talented playback singer in Bollywood who has given the music industry back to back hits like ‘Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gayi’, ‘Badtameez Dil’, Ude Dil Befikre, Main Tera Hero, Locha-e-Ulfat, among others.
He has performed over 3500 songs in 19 Indian languages. He has sung in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, and Marathi films, among others. He is a member of the band S5, which was formed by the SS Music TV channel.
He made his acting debut in the suspense thriller By the People, a Malayalam film.
At the 54th Filmfare Awards, his song ‘Kaise Mujhe Tum’ from ‘Ghajini’ received the RD Burman Award for New Music Talent. The song 'Pappu Can't Dance', from the film ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, earned him the Max Stardust Award for New Musical Sensation (2009).
He has worked with top music directors like A. R. Rahman, G. V. Prakash Kumar, Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Anirudh Ravichander, Sajid-Wajid, Devi Sri Prasad, Anoop Rubens, Salim-Sulaiman, Vishal-Shekhar, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy in his playback singing career.
